Batting 4 Women
Twelve-year old Sophie Humphrey is an active seventh grader at Meyzeek Middle School who loves softball. To celebrate her upcoming Bat Mitzvah she has decided to organize and host an all-girl charity softball tournament to raise funds for girls her age. Lucky for us, Sophie has chosen to donate proceeds from the tournament to Women 4 Women in support of our Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Foundation Fit 4 Me program which helps middle school girls stay active and healthy.
The Batting 4 Women softball tournament will be held on Saturday, March 13 at Ballard High School. Tournament and t-shirt sponsorship opportunities are available. If you are interested in volunteering, signing up a team, or being a sponsor, please contact Cyndi Moreno at 561-8060 ext.227.
